Johanci is inspired by nature and enjoys bringing the outside indoors.
Bluebells appear once a year in springtime and this scene is based upon her many woodland walks around Buckinghamshire, where she lives.
It is a textured painting with varying shades of green and purple-blue. There is vibrancy late afternoon when the sun shines on new leaves and creating a copper glow on the trees. There is usage of hues of blue, gold, copper and bronze with a hint of iridescent pearl.
Impasto painting technique combines acrylic paints and gels.
Painting can be hung vertically or horizontally.
