The Beach: Favignana - "tra cielo e mare”
A very special bespoke commission for clients' holiday home on the island Favignana nearby Sicily, Italy.
Johanci met initially with her clients in London a few years ago to discuss their requirements and colour scheme for their beach house.
When visiting her art studio, they fell in love with "Beach No.5 " and commissioned a similar, smaller painting which was more befitting for their beach house in Italy. The colour of the sea was to be similar to the beaches in Favignana.
Johanci was thrilled to create Favignana - "tra cielo e mare” which was unique and bespoke to them.
Various shades of aqua & sand is captured within this textured painting with a touch of iridescent pearl.
Impasto painting technique is used, combining acrylic paints and gels.
