The Adriatic
After purchase of one of Johanci's paintings at Platform in St. Christopher's Place in central London, clients discussed a bespoke commission directly with Johanci as they loved their first purchase.
They commissioned a bespoke size for a particular space which would suit a landscape painting of the Adriatic Sea.
Johanci was delighted to create "The Adriatic" for her clients, which depicted their love of the sea and this ocean in particular, as it had special memories and meaning to them.
Johanci felt particularly honoured to be entrusted with creating this everlasting memory for them on canvas.
Various shades of turquoise & blues with a touch of iridescent pearl was used to capture the palette of the Adriatic from their holiday photos.
Impasto painting technique is used, combining acrylic paints and heavy body acrylic gels with framing being left as optional.
