Grey Shimmer Triptych
Large statement paintings is what Johanci loves working on most! Her fabulous clients for this series of paintings had the same vision in relation to scale and entrusted her with a range of paintings for their lounge.
Johanci visited her clients' private London residence on a number of occasions to discuss their particular requirements and colour scheme. Her clients' opted to have a series of three paintings (triptych) alongside each other situated above their sofa in the lounge.
The brief was for it to be in a similar palette to "Shades of Grey" in Johanci's mixed media collection, however incoporating gold and for each of the three canvasses to be hung portrait. It was decided to have a cascading shaded effect from light to dark across the three canvases.
Adding iridescent pearl and gold into the mix, brought a personal touch to their artwork.
Johanci was absolutely delighted with this instruction, particularly as her clients gave her some artistic free reign whilst being clear on their vision for the completed artwork. The end result is something rather spectacular and unique to them as it reflects elements within their home.
Grey Shimmer Triptych is a highly textured abstract painting which has vibrancy & luminosity that changes from day to night. It is an uplifting and expressive piece with its different shades metallic shades and compliments her client's interior perfectly.
