Johanci was delighted to create "Cabbage Tree Bay" for her clients, which depicted their love of a particular place whilst on holiday in Australia, as it had special memories and meaning to them.
Her clients love all things beach, especially the everchanging colour of water and reflection. They loved another painting of Johanci's called Beach #1 and wanted a version that was uniquely theirs.
Johanci is inspired by the coast and water and enjoys bringing the outside indoors and she loved working on this particular painting for her clints.
Different shades of teal & yellow ochre with iridescent pearl were used to capture their chosen palette. Impasto painting technique is used throughout.
