Reflection in water is the inspiration behind this shimmery statement abstract painting.
There is a luminosity to how sunlight reflects on water and Johanci loves the kaleidoscope of colours created. This playful water surface is based upon the reflections of nature in a local pond close to home during summer.
Varying shades of green & grey & silver is used throughout.
It looks equally good on a white or coloured wall and can be hung horizontally or vertically!
Impasto painting technique combines acrylic paints and acrylic gels.
