This painting represents sunshine breaking through the clouds on an overcast day.
Johanci also takes inspiration from yellow pops of colour in nature at the first signs of spring in the northern hemisphere with daffodils and forsythia from her garden, which brings the outdoors inside.
Impasto painting technique is used with acrylic paints and gels.
Painting can be hung horizontally or vertically. Framing optional.
